Idella Foster Littleton ("Sugar Boo") - October 2, 1934 - September 13, 2006

Idella Foster Littleton was born on October 2, 1934 in Marion, Alabama to Eddie and Elizabeth Foster. Her parents moved the family to Birmingham, Alabama.

Idella had 5 children, Larry Foster Stewart (Wilma), Wilbert Foster (Sharon) and Brenda Littleton Moore. Daughter Betty and Robert Jr. preceded her in death. She had five grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren. Her brothers, George Foster (Birmingham) and Jesse Foster (Columbia, SC) and one sister, Julia Foster Lindsay (Washington, DC), as well as a host of neices, nephews and cousins. Her special cousin and guardian angel, Ann R. Smith.

Services were held at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Birmingham, AL.

Beverly Lindsay-Johnson (daughter of Julia Foster Lindsay), completed her independent documentary, Dance Party: The Teenarama Story, which was met with rave critic reviews.

Dance Party: The Teenarama Story examines the popularity of teen television dance shows of the 1950's and 60's, and features the success of an African American teen television dance show, The Teenarama Dance Party.

Beverly Lindsay-Johnson has entered into the concert booking and promotions business. Her major clients are artists from the 1950's and 1960's Doo-Wop and Vocal Group Harmony era of music. Currently, she has booked 9 legendary doo-wop performers for an April 2007 "Doo-Wop Memories" cruise on the Carnival Cruise Line. Visit the website at: www.mtrcruise.com

We would like to announce that Kendall Lindsay (son of Juliet Lindsay) graduated from
The Academy for Careers in Sports this summer and is now a freshman at Medgar Evers College.
He is planning to major in Business Administration to pursue a career in Sports Management.

New York City continues to be the business, entertainment and shopping capital of the world.
